Speed reading is facilitated by good writing

The ability to read fast (speed reading) is directly proportional to good writing. An experienced writer structures their text in a way that facilitates faster reading. Each sentence has a clear purpose, sentences with the same purpose are grouped into paragraphs. This allows a reader to read the key words or the first few sentences of a paragraph to get the main gist and move on.
